Meaning[]

In vivo means in Latin "in the living", and is used to refer to experimentation done on an intact, living organism. The album was composed based around that concept, as stated in a YouTube video advertising it:

"inspired by the fantasy of allowing one's lover to open them up and caress their insides in an act of romance. produced between 7am and 7pm, october 20, 2009.

experimental, conceptual ambience. arranged into three parts with no defined order within each part. more or less a collection of thoughts."

Trivia[]

  • This album was completed between a 12-hour period (7am to 7pm) without prior planning.
  • Unlike other releases, the art credits given to PSURG are listed as the expanded version of the name.
  • The character caressing Renard in the alternate cover art is Nemphyss, a character belonging to Squeedge.
