Emma Essex (nicknamed "msx") is a personal character of Emma's, whom they take their name from.
Not to be confused with the owner, who goes by the same name.
As Emma's fursona, they take their name (and the owner's name) from the MSX computer, a home computer developed by Microsoft in 1983. Much of Emma's design is based from Jamma's as well as the owner's own fashion interests. In the case of Emma Essex, they are their "raver" fursona. The decision to make their fursona a donkey is derived from their own "social stubbornness" and the donkey transformation scene from Pinocchio.[1][2]
